Rock & Roll Sandwiches


Preparation:

Instead of store bought cookies, choose a family recipe and bake together with the kids. For a healthier choice, use oatmeal or oatmeal raisin cookies and substitute nuts for the topping.



You will need:

24 chocolate chip cookies

3 cups PARLOUR Chocolate, Neopolitan or French Vanilla, softened (or choose any of your favourite PARLOUR flavours!)
750 ml
chocolate chips, crushed SMARTIES or AERO, coloured sprinkles, nuts or other toppings

Step 1:
Take 2 cookies and place a scoop (approx. 1/4 cup) of your favourite PARLOUR flavour between the cookies.  Press gently together ensuring that the ice cream protrudes from the edges just a little.

Step 2:
On separate sheets of wax paper, sprinkle your topping in a long row.

Step 3:
Take the sandwiches and roll them on their sides through the sprinkled topping to coat the outside of the sandwich.  Serve & enjoy!

Try mini sandwiches with smaller cookies for portion control - and for young children with smaller tummies!
