Fudgy ROLO Brownies

Preparation: 15 min  Cook: 28-30 min

There’s nothing more satisfying than deep, dark, deliciously fudgy brownies bursting with bitefuls of creamy caramel. Who would ever guess they owe their rich flavour to the instant espresso!

 

 

You will need:

1/4 tsp NESCAFÉ Espresso Instant Coffee 1 ml
1 brownie mix package (400-450 g) 1
2 NESTLÉ ROLO bars (52 g each) 2

Step 1:
Generously grease 8-inch (2 L) square cake pan with shortening; set aside. In bowl, mix instant espresso with amount of water required by brownie mix; set aside.

Step 2:
Prepare brownie mix as directed, stirring in espresso mixture instead of water. Pour half into prepared pan. Arrange whole candies evenly over batter. Spoon remaining batter over each candy to cover, gently smooth top.

Step 3:
Bake according to brownie mix directions. Let cool. Cut into 36 pieces.

Makes  36 brownies.
