White Bean Bruschetta
Preparation: 15 min
A twist on an Italian classic. For a complete appetizer presentation, serve with PERRIER Party Punch.
You will need:

prepared recipe of the grilled garlic bread |

| 1 (540 ml) can |
white kidney beans, drained & rinsed |
1 |
| 1/4 cup |
extra virgin olive oil |
50 ml |
| 1 |
garlic clove, minced |
1 |
| 1-2 tbsp |
water, optional |
15-30 ml |
| 2 tbsp |
minced fresh sage |
30 ml |

coarse salt & freshly ground black pepper
|
|
|
sage & strips of sundried tomato |

Step 1:
Place prepared bread on a large platter for serving.
Step 2:
Place kidney beans, olive oil and garlic in food processor; process until the mixture is a spreadable paste. (If necessary add 1-2 tbsp of water if mixture is too thick).
Step 3:
Remove mixture from food processor placing in a bowl; stir in sage and salt and pepper to taste. Divide prepared mixture evenly among bread slices; garnish with additional sage and strips of sundried tomatoes.
Makes 24 servings
Nutrients per serving (per 1 slice): about 130 calories, 4 g protein, 7 g fat, 13 g carbohydrate.
