Balsamic Tomato Bruschetta

A tomato and herb topping creates this satisfying appetizer. Serve with NESTEA Sangria.

 

 


You will need:

1 prepared recipe of grilled garlic bread 1
1/2  pint  grape tomatoes, quartered 250 g
1/4  cup  balsamic vinegar 50 ml
salt & fresh ground pepper to taste
fresh sprigs of dill weed
                                                          
Step 1:
Place prepared bread on a large platter for serving.

Step 2:
Toss tomatoes with vinegar and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3:
Divide tomato mixture evenly among bread slices; garnish with fresh dill.

Makes 24 servings

Nutrients per serving (per 1slice): about 90 calories, 2 g protein, 4.5 g fat, 10 g carbohydrate.

Good to Know: Tomatoes are not only a source of Vitamin C; they are also a source of folate. One medium tomato contains 22 calories.
