Pesto, Arugula & Parmesan Bruschetta

A unique bruchetta with aromatic peppery mustard flavour. An ideal pair with PERRIER Party Punch.




You will need:
1 prepared recipe of the garlic bread 1
2/3 cup store-bought pesto sauce 150 ml
1 cup washed & dried arugula leaves 250 ml
1 medium wedge parmesan cheese 1
2 tbsp fresh sage, minced 30 ml

Step 1:
Place prepared bread on a large platter for serving.

Step 2:
Spread pesto onto prepared bread slices; top with arugula leaves.

Step 3:
Using a large vegetable peeler or mandoline; shave parmesan cheese into slices and place on top of bread. 

Makes 24 servings

Nutrients per serving (per 1 slice): about 140 calories, 5 g protein, 9 g fat, 10 g carbohydrate.

Good to Know:  Canada’s Food Guide recommends consuming at least one dark green vegetable every day.  Incorporate more leafy greens by including arugula, spinach, and collard greens into your diet on a regular basis.
