Bread Machine Loaf


Preparation:
10 min  Cook: varies by machine

While the winds howl outside, fill your home with the inviting smell of freshly baked bread. Since every bread machine differs, follow your manual for best results.





You will need:

1 1/2 cups     water 375 ml
1/4 cup instant skim milk powder 50 ml
2 tbsp vegetable oil 30 ml
1 tbsp granulated sugar 15 ml
1 1/2 tsp salt 7 ml
4 cups bread machine all-purpose flour      1 L
1 1/4 tsp quick-rising (instant) dry yeast 6 ml

Tools required:
Bread machine

Step 1:
Remove baking pan from bread machine.  Add to pan, in order water, skim milk powder, oil, sugar, salt, flour and yeast.

Step 2:
Insert pan into machine and secure; close lid.  Select basic or white bread setting. 

Step 3:
Remove bread from pan when baked.  Let cool on wire rack before slicing. 

Makes 1 large loaf, about 15 slices

Nutrients per serving: about 146 Calories, 4 g Protein, 2 g Fat, 28 g Carbohydrate
