Kreesha Turner stars in New Kit Kat Senses TV spot

TORONTO, ON (March 16, 2009) – Nestlé Canada Inc. is pleased to announce an exciting new campaign between EMI recording sensation, KREESHA TURNER, and the new KIT KAT Senses chocolate bar. Kreesha, two-time JUNO nominee, will star in her first ever TV commercial for the new KIT KAT Senses. The spot was shot in downtown Toronto and features Kreesha’s smash hit “Bounce with Me” off her debut album, Passion. The TV commercial breaks nationally on March 16 and will be featured on CTV.ca/kreesha.

The new KIT KAT Senses bar, launched early this year by Nestlé, has already created incredible consumer buzz. It is an indulgent combination of delicious real milk chocolate, the famous KIT KAT crisp wafer and creamy hazelnut filling at only 170 calories per 31g bar.

“KIT KAT Senses is an important launch for the KIT KAT Brand and a must-try for 2009, so it was important to produce a breakthrough new TV spot to effectively communicate to consumers,” says KIT KAT Brand Manager, Christine McClean. “After an exhaustive music search for the perfect song, our creative agency JWT played us Bounce with Me and it was an instant fit for KIT KAT.”

McClean says the team liked the fit so much, they asked Kreesha to star in the TV spot as well. “Kreesha perfectly reflects the KIT KAT Senses target consumer and brand personality; young, hip, down-to-earth and poised for success. And we love that she’s Canadian!”

 “I thought the script was great, and what girl doesn’t love chocolate?  I appreciated the fact that I could just ‘be myself’. It was my first TV commercial and a ton of fun,” says Kreesha Turner.

KIT KAT is also exclusively sponsoring Kreesha’s online video diaries as she travels the country and prepares for the JUNOS (developed by CTV Digital). The diaries will provide her fans with exclusive rare, raw footage as she travels across Canada.

KIT KAT Senses congratulates KREESHA TURNER on her BIG BREAK with Two JUNO nominations. The 30 sec TV spot will also air during the JUNOS on CTV Sunday March 29.
